The Y1 Younger Series distinguishes itself through its focus on quality materials and simplicity of design. The main body, made from aluminium, is robust and waterproof. The device features an atmosphere lamp on the backside and a reflective face light, ensuring the 2-megapixel camera captures a clear picture. Its compact size and clean shape, devoid of any visible screws, make it a versatile fit for any setting.
The device's technology is as impressive as its design. The body case is CNC machined from an aluminium block, ensuring it is completely waterproof and resistant to dust and rain. The software system runs on Android 9 O.S with a 4-core CPU and 2+16 Gbyte memory. The device uses the world's most advanced recognition algorithm, capable of recognizing a face in less than 300 milliseconds. This is achieved through two-eye identification, preventing the use of fake photos or sculptured faces.
The Y1 Younger Series is not just a security device; it also has potential for advertising and communication. When in standby mode, the device's 5-inch LCD HD display can show advertisements or welcome messages. It can be placed on a wall, desk, or passenger channels, making it adaptable to various scenarios.
The design process for the Y1 Younger Series was a journey that began in Shanghai in December 2018 and concluded with its presentation at a special convention in September 2019. The design team overcame numerous challenges, including achieving a clean, simple shape while ensuring the device was waterproof and free of visible screws.
The Y1 Younger Series has been recognized for its innovative design and technological prowess, winning the Silver A' Security, Safety, and Surveillance Products Design Award in 2020. This award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, and the Y1 Younger Series certainly fits the bill. Its high-quality materials, advanced technology, and simplicity of design make it a standout in the world of security devices.
